Today we went on our big hike. We set off to see the Creux du Van and to complete a 4 hour hike. The Creux du
Van was amazing. It was really high and we were able to walk right along the
edge of the cliff, luckily nobody fell. Once we had walked along the top
and around to the other side, we stopped for a quick lunch and as we ate
we were all trying to shelter from the howling wind. The walk down the
side of the mountain after lunch was lots of fun but also quite
difficult. Once we hit the bottom we had another long walk through the forest. When this was finished we got picked up
and taken back to camp. After another great dinner we spent the night
having fun competing in a quiz trying to win points for our room groups.
Today
was another long but fun day.
